Towing capacity

I have a 03 Beaver Contessa, Naples, 40', ISL370 with a factory hitch. Does anyone know the rated capacity of the hitch. 5k, 10k, or whatever. Thanks a lot.

There should be sign somewhere maybe on the inside of a cabinet door that list that information. Otherwise Google the sales brochure for that coach and that year and it will have all the information you need.

It should say on the hitch but according to the sales brochure, it's 10,000lbs.

The hitch is only part of the "Towing Capacity" question.

Work the numbers, the tow rating is the lower of:

1. GCWR minus tow vehicle's actual weight.

2. Hitch capacity.

3. Coach tow rating.

4. Chassis maker's tow rating.
