Towing enclosed trailer with a 99 f53 ford chassis

First let me say hello to all, new here and to class-a rv'ing.

I posted in the Newmar forum also but thought it might get more views here. the coach is a 99 dutch star on a ford f53 chassis with the v-10. I only pull the trailer to our local drag strip, about 75 miles one way all flat land. Any suggestions on frame reinforcing or other towing items?

Thanks, Todd & Juli

How much does the trailer weigh (loaded)? How many axels? Do you have trailer brakes? What weight is your coach trailer ball and receiver rated to take?

The trailer is about 7600 fully loaded and has brakes on both axles. Not sure of the hitch. I will replace that if necessary as most only have a 5000lb from the factory according to those I'v talked with so far. One thing I will be able to pull quite a bit of weight from the trailer with having a coach. I currantly haul everything in the trailer and pull with a 2500hd truck.

Good luck!
