Greetings all,

I am actively researching a TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) for my Journey. The place to go for input is right here in this forum; see is what I have so far.
TST(truck system technologies) out of Cumming, GA has good ratings as well as;
Tire Tracker.
Any experiences or thoughts will be appreciated.

EEZRV works very well for me. Easy to set up and always someone to call for assistance if needed.

We have used the TST for a number of years. Their service is great. The biggest problem is no them, but the valve extenders failing or coming loose.

My intention is to install a flow through senior rather than the internal type.
I assume that there is a sort of locking feature for the flow through type which would prohibit them from unscrewing.
Thoughts?

I chose the non-flow through because I've heard that the flow through sensors are harder to put air in tires. Some say that they obstruct the air and double filling time. I'm sure some will jump on here and say I'm wrong and I may be. I just decided not to take the chance. EEZRV sensors are easy enough to remove and replace. Don't know about others.

We use the TST sensors with good results. Especially that the units show the temperature of the tires. We did just send a new sensor back for service as it was leaking. But other than that, the sensors have served us well for 3 years. The batteries apparently are easy to replace as well, but too date we havent had to replace any.

Get the TST system; you won't be disappointed. The sensors show tire pressure and temps on you RV tires, and toad, if you want that. I ave the display unit double-stick taped to the ledge just under the dashboard gauges, and wires into key-switched power. It "wakes up" automatically, and has a low-level backlight for nighttime viewing.

If you have any questions or problems, their customer service is excellent.

Most of these monitors and sensors are pretty much the same thing with the same technology. We bought the TST unit non-flow through sensor. I removed the security cover and installed just the sensor, making it about half the size of the unit with the security cover.

The sensor with the security cover installed, is just about as easy to remove as one without. Not really a big deterrent. I wanted the smaller less visible units on mine. I checked my air just the other day. The non-flow thru models spin right off, like a valve stem cap.

The only issue I had with my TST unit was it would start alarming after several hundred miles of driving. TST told me it might be my indoor/outdoor thermometer causing the issue. I removed the batteries, but still had the issue. A second call to TST and I was told that my coach was really too long to be running without the TST repeater. I bought the repeater and it seems the problem is solved.

I run TST 507 with flow through sensors on coach and toad. Installed original TST system (non-flow through) in 2011. Changed out to flow through sensors in 2012 or 2013.

Very pleased with performance and customer support.

Easy to program.

I add the repeater in the rear closet to makes sure I wouldn't have issues with the toad sensors.

If I may ask here, do any or all these systems discussed have a problem of not showing that a sensor has stopped working? I seem to remember reading that in other threads.

Don't know about all the systems but mine has not had that issue.

Another vote for TST. Their customer service is great. They did have problem with one batch of sensors, but they went above and beyond to make their customers whole. I opted for the internal sensors, clean look and easy to check an adjust air pressure. Yes you do have to dismount the tires to install, but the batteries should last 7 years and you should be considering changing your tires in that time frame. For a nominal fee TST will send you new sensors with fresh batteries to have available when you change tires. Then you just send the old ones back.
