Fantastic looking. It was nine years old when you had it repainted? What was the problem with the paint? How is it holding up now after 12 years on the paint job? Better than the OEM paint or is it needing it again? How many miles do you have on it now? Do you store it outside or does it reside inside a garage?
Sorry for all the questions I am just looking in to getting our 2003 Dynasty repainted. I painted my last two coaches but I no longer have that option as my parents farm was sold after their passing a few years ago which is where I painted my two previous coaches. I don't think my neighbors would be too fond of me for spreading paint dust around for a month or so.
I really don't want to get anything newer as my wife and I love our coach and it has everything we could want. It just turned over 95k miles two months ago and I keep it meticulously maintained it just has some clearcoat starting to flake off. I would really just like to have a paint job put on it but I then wonder how long until I would have to do it again.
Any information you could give me I would appreciate.
Mike.
P.S. are you happy with the job that was done when you had it repainted in 2001 and if so can I ask who painted it? I have been looking at some reputable places but first hand recommendations are always welcomed.

Mike
Bought the Eagle in Joshua Tree Ca in 2000. It had some Sun fade on the paint on one side from sitting outside and had 48 k miles from the original owner, went through all the mechanical issues and learned as quick as I could about Pushers. In 01 I took it to Truck Paint Specialist in Indianapolis for complete paint, this was their 1st MH paint Job and it took some time and a learning curve for them. Once they got the base coat on they cleared it 5 times as I wanted to see into the paint- just me. It now has 185,000 mile on it and the paint overall still looks great- I do have a few spots that need attention- Front cap top has some pealing- front has some small road dings and a spot on the drivers side by the water heater needs work. a project for next Summer. It is winter stored inside a heated shop @ 70 deg but that's only for Nov - Mid Jan as I head to Florida that time of the year.
Maintenance is the key. Its waxed 2 times a year and the wheels are buffed polished 3 or 4 times a year.
Worst thing for these big Pushers is sitting, hard on the paint and the Mechanical's as well. If they were to repaint this again it would be at least $15 K- 4 Guy's- 3 weeks.
Feel free to ask questions anytime.
Happy Trails !

Do you have it waxed and wheels polished or do it yourself, how did you wind a place to do that work, there is not even a truck wash here in Rochester. Blue Beacon dose a nice job when on the road.

Hey Glenn
I use Blue Beacon all the time about 25 time a year- some are good and some are not. I usually get my wheels done in a few select Truck stops along the way. I have it waxed and sit in the lawn chair sipping a few pops and watch. Other maintenance like Oil and Filter's I do myself, I just like poking around the 8.3 to keep an eye on things. Put a new Engine on my Genny 2 years ago, that was a little challenging but it all worked out.

Why the new engine on the genset? Hours or mechanical failure?
I agree maintenance is the key, however I don't trust others to do it. Although I will have to hire the paint out due to lack of options. I pull all my wheels once a year and polish the aluminum wheels. I wax our Dynasty at least twice a year, pressure wash the undercarriage half a dozen times or so and crawl under it a dozen or so times a year to put my eyes on everything. I hope mine will last as long as yours has and that is why I am looking to get it painted vs. replacing the coach for a different one that I will literally have to start all over again.
Thanks again for the info.
Mike.

Mike,
I think we're being scolded!
Genny motor overheated and scalded the rings- cause- defective high temp shutdown switch caused the fan to fail.

Thanks for all of your information.
Again, great looking "older" rig. I mean that as a compliment. I hope mine still looks that good after 20+ years of life on the road.
Mike.
