Thanks for starting this thread. I like looking at all the cool trailers and toys.

I once brought my brother and his wife along with us:

Hi Terry, it is a Middlebury Trailer, 28' inside + 2' extended tongue
This is the dealer that I bought it from Touch of Class Trailers

Nice looking rig. Congrats on the new trailer. Have you had a chance to pull it yet? What does the trailer weigh empty vs. loaded? How does the coach handle it?

Just curious.

Mike.

Mike.
Hi Mike, I have been working 7 days a week for over two months, it is over now, but a lot of work piled up around the house over that period of time, I have not pulled it down the road as of yet, just delivered it to me last Tuesday, got the E-track all mounted down last weekend, waiting on the Title to come(I have a 30 day tag to run on though) going to get the Coach inspected this coming Saturday, so this weekend(staying home) I might get to hook on to it and take it for a short ride..........4,500# empty, Jeep JK Sahara-4,300# , Ultra Classic- 800-900#
The trailer has 5200# Torsion axles under it, it will be registered at 9990#.
My brother and I custom built a reciever hitch last winter(within all specs.) and I am waiting for the solid Curt ball mount and new 15,000# ball to be delivered. Coming this week I hope. But if not I have a couple different mounts that would work if it is empty for a test ride. I weighed the tongue weight this weekend with the JK and the Ultra in it and it came in right at 1,000#
It has 310# when empty.

Nice looking trailer, is it aluminum? Is the floor plywood? I can't tell from pics? Did you raise the roof any? Just curious.

Where do you find these 'double hitches' that both pull the toad and carry the bike rack on the back of the RV?

Thanks! Lookin good!

It is a steel frame, I am thinking They wanted $5500.00 for all aluminum??? The flooring through out is Advantech Sheeting,(Advantech Plywood, Advantech Sheathing, High Performance Wall Sheathing & Roof Sheathing Panel | Huber Engineered Woods)
And yes, I had it built with a additional 12" added to everything, even the doors, ramps are not as steep with the additional height.
Thanks for all the nice comments! I could not be happier, and it is above my expectations! They build a nice trailer, and I am glad things turned out so good for buying it over the Internet!

Car is already off the trailer, but this is one of the aforementioned "tight" tracks to get in and out of. Took some maneuvering on my part, but got it done. Almost got stuck in the gas station though when the trailer tongue and hitch dug into the dirt as I was trying to pull out. Lesson learned for next time.

Has anyone put a roller on the underside of their shank and/or trailer tongue? I seem to have more issues dragging those items than I do dragging the tail of the trailer.

I ised a roller when I towed a toy hauler with my 2500HD, but the MH would put a LOT more force into the assembly, and the roller would actually make the ground clearance worse, so I just live with the occasional grinding.
