In the show he was also hauling a pretty good size boat inback of the trailer. Both the boat and the stacker can be moved around by remote control hydrolic dollies.
If I remember right the total length of the MH and two trailers was over 100 feet.

We have been camped near this rig a few times when going to St. Anthony sand dunes in Idaho. Huge rig. We passed him one time on I-15 just north of Pocatello, ID when he was pulling the boat behind the trailer as well. I didn't think I was ever going to see the end of it.
Mike.

Looks like it is double towing, not triple.

You have to watch the video, he pulls a 25 foot boat behind the trailer, the whole thing is over 100 feet long.

I saw the video and saw it when the show was on tv, if you are towing two trailers isn't that towing doubles?

Colorado allows triple trailers. When the triples rigs come into Kansas from Colorado, Kansas does allow them to go to Goodland, the first city in Kansas. Then they have to break them down into doubles. Takes more trucks and drivers to get the trailers on east on I-70. A pickup and fiver and boat behind, is a triple combination, but not pulling triples. Nevada and Utah both allow semis pulling triples, and it is one truck pulling three trailers.

We used to pull our fiver, with a boat behind. Triple combo. Pulling doubles. Some lakers in Kansas pull a fiver behind their pickup, with a boat behind that, and with a special homemade hitch on the boat trailer with a jet ski behind the boat. Hence pulling triples. If its a private vehicle just going to the lake, the LEOs just look the other way, probably wishing they were going also.

Hey GlenLever,
Don't let them fool you. Towing two trailers in combination is"towing doubles", towing three trailers in combination is"towing triples". The End!
Regards, Howard
