Trans temp Gauge Sender

Greetings,
I first called Monaco tech support today and told them about my trans temp gauge jumping around. They recommended replacing the sending unit so I stopped by Monaco in Coburg today and picked up a new 323 086D Sender 400F 1/8"-27NPT Short fitting at ($37.50) to replace the existing one that seems to be failing and making the Trans Temperature gauge needle jump around. Question is before I start crawling around under the coach can anyone tell me where this sender is located?

Look at your transmission owners manual. It shows where the sender unit is located.

If the gauge is jumping around, I don't think it is the sender unit. Bad senders usually fail hard giving a hot or cold readind. I'd vote for a bad ground somewhere.
