OK, generator runs and produces power to the A/C's while sitting in the driveway.

When you have your coach hooked to shore power using your shore cord the A/C's work fine.

When you have the generator running in the driveway with the A/C's running, once you start your engine and head down the driveway, the generator continues to run BUT your A/C's stop and will not run anymore.

Is what I stated above correct?

Also just to confirm when generator running and driving down road.
Thermostat is functioning and powered up but AC will not run.

Yep and without 12 volts AC will not run.

transfer switch?

Let me make sure I tell this right--this is the latest--When the MH is plugged in to the house current-the ac"s run fine(one at a time) the microwave, etc.. works fine.It seems that now when I unplug from the house and crank the generator, (which runs great regardless of if the coach is running or not) neither of the ac"s will work, microwave doesnt work. When I am at campground and plugged into shoreline--all ac"s, aplliances, microwave,etc.. works fine. Cranking the MH has no effect on the generator--it runs fine regardless. The ac"s used to run with just the generator running but now wont run off the generator

Now it's clear. Either the generator is not generating electricity or the transfer switching is not switching to generator.

If the generator engine is running but no electricity and it's not the circuit breaker, then possibly a stator or armature of the generator itself. That would require a voltmeter to troubleshoot the generator output.

Well the information is now making some common sense.

I agree with Chuck.

If you have reset the circuit breaker(s) on the generator, physically turning them off and then back on, and waiting for the delay, and still no power to the coach, either the generator is not producing any power OR the coach transfer switch is not switching over to the generator relay.

First check the circuit breaker(s) on the generator one more time just to make sure.

Next, start your generator and using your DVOM, open up the transfer switch box and measure the incoming voltage from the generator making sure there is 120 VAC on the HOT and Neutral wires.

If you have power there then your generator is OK.

Next, measure the output side of the transfer switch, HOT and Neutral to see if you have 120 VAC going to your power main panel in the coach.

If no power then you know the transfer switch is defective. If you have power then the next place to go is your main power panel to see where the power has been interrupted.

Once you find where the power is gone, you will find your defective device.

**CAUTION** If you are not comfortable working around live power that can kill you if you happen to make a mistake then hire a professional to do the trouble-shooting for you.

Excellent troubleshooting advise from Richard. Be sure that shore power is unplugged when making the tests, you want to test the generator only.
