Tranny

I have a 1999 pace arrow with a V10 I'm not sure what trany it has but when I put it in gear it slips for a second or two and then works grate it seems like it only slips in first gear is there a trans filter that could be the problem? Or has some one seen this issue before any help would be grate.

That would be 'great', but yeah, have it serviced and checked out by a transmission shop.

What makes you think it's slipping?

Since you have a V10, it will have a Ford transmission, probably the 4R100 in a '99. I don't think there is an externally accessible filter, but there may be one inside. You need help from a transmission pro shop.
