Travel Height Override
If I want to ensure that my future coach has this feature available, what do I look for on a DP? I want to be able to raise it if needed for slanted driveways/parking lots or slight obstacles on the way to a boondocking site.

The question regarding the air bag height is interesting however I've always been told that there is no practical way to increase the height of the coach via air bags from inside the coach. I think you'd have crawl under the coach and manually adjust the air bag height limiter.
Again, this is what I've been told and therefore not the gospel truth.

In regard to the Source Engineering momentary ride height adjustment kit that raises the rear air bags.
I spoke to Jim today and I'm seriously considering the purchase of his kit. It consists of the necessary electrical wire (front to rear) switch and solenoids. Jim said it takes anywhere between 1 to 2 hours to install (which I'll do myself) and costs $150.00 plus shipping. He said the hardest part is running the wires under the coach to the drive axle ride height adjuster. If you have a tag, you only have to raise the drive axle.
The kit can also be used on the front axle but if you want both axles momentarily raised, you'll need (2) kits.

I has the Source Engineering system installed front and rear and it works great! Previous to this, I had to put wood planks in the dip out at the end of my driveway. Now I just raise the rear - no problem. I get about 4 inches more on the rear and 2-1/2 inches on the front.

X2 and most Monaco’s with air leveling have that controller. My 08 Navigator has a Power Gear Valid system that will let you raise or lower.
