Travel help

Need a little help? Leaving Ontario Canada early this year. Will head for Apache
Junction Arizona in November, will go from Joplin MO west. Is there a way to get from I40 to Apache Junction without going all the way to I17 south down to Phoenix. Would like to avoid the traffic around Phoenix, I have a 40 foot with Jeep GC toad. Thanks in advance.

Have you considered I 25 from Albuquerque to Las Cruces or Deming New Mexico to connect with I 10 then up to Apache Junction?

Get off at Holbrook and take 377 S to 277 to Heber to 260 W to Payson to 87 to Mesa take Red Mountain Fwy 202 East to Apache Trail to Apache Junction . That is the way we all go home from Mesa every year.
