What are things to bring when traveling?

For one bring 2"X6" boards(2'-6' long). We had them with us but were in the car when we found this coach in distress(On the Hogs Back, Rte.12 between Cannonville and Boulder, Utah). Hung up between the road and turnoff it took about 50 flat rocks and some strong jacks to get him out. Having been stuck in the sand a few times, we carry the boards and old carpeting with us in the coach.
