that is funny about the "dont run a/c when driving" It does not hurt a thing. The compressors are larger in most coachs just for that reason of pushing freon that distance.
Have you heard the "dont run your roof a/c when driving down the road?"
that is a bunch of crap too. It doesn't hurt the roof ac to run when going down the hwy.
Inverter,....shoot man that is what it is for, so that you can run 110 items for a short time without running the Gen.
If a tech tells you something that sounds fishy, find another tech and ask them as well.
good techs will all answer just about the same.
I should know, I'm a Tech and we fix so many things in our shop that get screwed up by other shops, and fix so many things that other shops dont have a clue how to fix and say they fixed it but actually did more harm than good. We fix things in our shop that other shops in the city cant fix so they bring it to use to fix and then we bill them and then they bill their customer.... hmmmm they should be just going to the right shop!!
Ask people your RVing with who they use and maybe who not to use.
