When I went north for 2 1/2 months I took the big concentrator in the motor home. But when I just go for a few days I use the portable unit I have. The portable unit will run on battery, 110 volts and also 12 volts.

Used portable concentrator for bringing mom across country. It didn't like being on Inverter (MSW) but fine on genny or shore power.

I have a large compressor in the basement. We had a inverter and extra batteries installed. It turns on via remote and my husband drilled a small hole from the basement through to the bottom of a closet. Works great! I use it at night for a sleep apnea issue, but if I needed to be on oxygen full time it would be easy to add tubing to access the entire coach.
