Tray under washer

Found water in the tray and want to pull out the washer for a look see. The washer moves but the tray doesn't. I would think the tray and washer would slide out together. Am I missing something?
Thanks

If the tray is like the one I had in my 5er, it is separate and may not be attached to the floor.

On my tray, the front lip is screwed down to the floor of the pan. I remove the screws and the washer can then be slid out of the cabinet.

Same here. You might have to dig around in the sealer to find the screws but they are there

My 1998 HR Endeavor came washer prep ready. Had dealer install dryer vent and washer/dryer combo. They we confident I did not need drip tray. Later I bought drip tray and installed. It's screwed to floor with 4 screws, each 4 inches from the edges of each corner. Front lip screwed to floor of drip tray over top of thick sealer. I then tilted the machine and moved half way in. Then tilted it back and pushed into place. This let me tip over the front lip without touching it.
