At the office our engineering group runs Parallels which provides the ability to run Windows programs on a Mac.

We use Wunderground weather with Streets and trips. The weather site gives 3 different routes and forcasts the weather along your way, up to two weeks in advance. Two weeks is a stretch for forecasts but you can get an idea. For a trip starting in a day or a few it is fairly accurate.
