Truck Service Technologies (TST) TPMS
I'm learning every day. I called TST because one of my 507 sensors began eating batteries. In about 3 days this one sensor goes dead but comes back with a fresh battery only to die again in a short time. Lessons learned:
1. There is a 3 year warranty on my system. I bought mine 1.5 years ago and I now have a Return Authorization. I will get a new sensor at no charge.
2. I thought I had 510 sensors on my Jeep and 507 sensors on my bus, all being read by my 507 monitor. I even argued this with somebody here. I have been schooled to understand that my Jeep must have '507 caps' which look very much like 510's. 507 caps have owner-replaceable batteries; 510's do not.
3. As posted by someone else recently, they have released an improved 507 sensor that does not have the air restriction that the older ones have. I find it easiest to simply remove my 507's to add air. Apparently the new 507's will be much easier to get air through.
4. TST has excellent tech support and great customer service!
