Trying to find walkie talkie replacements

Just bought our first RV and trying to get it perfect. The last thing I've found is the Audiovox FRS100Y radios. The factory installed charging bay works fine, but I cannot find 4 replacement handheld radios. Other posts show that they are discontinued, but I cannot find anyone selling replacements or a charger bay with updated radios. Saw where a couple people had removed theirs, to recapture the space, or install subwoofers. Anybody know of anyone who has radios or a charger bay with radios that they'd part with for a fair price? We hope to be traveling with grandkids who would make good use of them. Thanks.

I'm taking mine out. They have been kept charged for the past 10 years and never used. You're welcome to the whole works for a reasonable price.

Welcome to IRV2!

EDIT: Did a quick search for this product and there have been a couple of of them that showed up on ebay. Here's one from Australia: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Audiovox-...-/251266192130

PM me with an offer and they're yours.

There are many FRS radios you may even be able to get color-dot radios (Red, Green BLue) which have a bit more range.. Charger bases are also out there if the radio is rechargable... You can find them at many major stores.. last pair I got were give-away Green Dot's. They are a Radio Shack brand, take ICOM batteries (IC-2, or IC-02 all take the same battery) and you can get batteries and chargers from W & W batteries. (I also have an IC-2 and IC-02). But the last I purchased were, I think, Audiovox.. Got them at a Meijer Store in Michigan, You should be able to find them in Wal-mart or Best Buy as well. Two radios and a charger base in one package.

In our vintage they built these into the coach - it's hard wired and has for handheld's in side. They're a nice unit if you have use for them. We've never used ours.
