TST APMS When Toad has Factory APMS

I am ready to buy my first MH, and the research I've done here leads me to believe that I REALLY want TPMS on the MH (maybe a 2002 Dutch Star) and the toad (2013 CRV). Only problem is that the toad has a factory TPMS. Can I just add an 10-tire TST or similar system on coach and toad, or would I have to disconnect the factory TPMS?

I'm not committed to the TST, but would buy that system if I didn't have a toad. Other products would be fine with us as well.

Just add the 10 tire TST. My toad (Chevy Aveo) has a factory TPMS and I haven't had any interference. I take the TST sensors off the toad when it is not being towing.
Call TST prior to ordering and they'll let you know if your particular car is an issue.

First let me tell you my experiences with TST. They are a fantastic company to do business with. I have the 507 system for my rig and toad and love it. I had the 510 system before and when the batteries started to go around the 4-5 year mark I upgraded to the 507 with the flow through sensors.
Now to your question, the toad internal monitoring system has nothing to do with you adding on a sensor. Your toad's system will still work when you are driving it as it normally does. All you are doing is screwing a sensor onto the valve stem. The car's system is internal and has no effect on the screw on sensor. Best wishes as you start your RVing adventure.
Many happy miles and smiles.
Dan
