I have the TST-410 10-sensor system. Ordered the booster that I mounted in the rear bedroom closet where +12VDC and Gnd. is easily available from the bedroom light fixture. Power is available when the battery disconnect switch (Salesman switch) is on by the front door. Mounted it where I can just see the red LED flash when it is on thru the bedroom sliding door. Found out later I didn't need the booster, but it is available if needed--doesn't hurt to have it. Also mounted the monitor to the driver's window with suction-cup mount (Came with it) If it loses a sensor, I just un-screw that sensor and put back on--resets it. Nice that it un-monitors and re-monitors the Toad sensors when you drive your Toad away and then come back. For a long stay, you can shut the monitor down to save monitor battery. At home, I unscrew Toad sensors and label them for re-install later to save battery power. Only problem so far has been an occational loss of sensor (Rare) and having to re-set pressure setting of Motorhome tires so you do not get a nuisance alarm for OVER-pressure. Those tires will increase pressure more than you think especially on a hot day. Easy to do-just increase tire monitor pressure 5 psi.. Mine went from 95 to 100 for the monitoring pressure. It does raise the UNDER-pressure alarm point also, but that's not all bad either.

We have the 10-wheel TST system for our MH and toad. We've had it for only a month, but I am impressed with its pressure and temperature sensitivity.

Since the large, wired antenna came with the unit I decided to use it. We have a split windshield with a large center post; the antenna is mounted at the top of the post and the wire is tucked into a gap on the side and is held in place with museum putty. At the bottom of the post I routed the wire under a portion of the dashboard over to where I have the monitor sitting on top of the dash (held in place with Velcro).

Is the alert tone high or low and how loud is it?? I can't hear the beeps most of these type of devices put out.

Are you getting a good signal from the toad tires with the antenna mounted on the windshield?
And were you losing them without it?

I was thinking about running that antenna further to the rear, but that seems like a major undertaking for a minor occasional problem.

The tone is not real loud on my TST unit, but the display has a red flashing light when the alarm is sounding. I have my display mounted right above the speedometer and couldn't miss the light

I had a Hella TC-400 for my 5er and I couldn't hear it. I could change the back light colors, but the red was... pink.

I get great reception from the toad tires with the antenna mounted above the windshield on the center post. I admit I didn't do a scientific experiment to see what the the reception was with the small antenna; since I had the big one I figured I would use it!
