Turn signal camera......wow!!

Took a trip to Key West several weeks back and drove through 3 days of torrential rain to get there. My drivers side turn signal camera (Velvac mirrors) somehow got water inside of it. Ordered a new one today.....$213 and some change......more than I expected!!

Anything with RV/MH in the search terms means additional cost.

The folks at Velvac are very proud of their stuff. Don't ask me how I know.

And don't forget lower quality.

The Triplevision cameras that are in my coach are junk. 2 failed in less than 4 years.

OP, you got away real 'cheap'!!!!! To replace a mirror with camera, last year I spent over $750.00. I would have gladly paid only $213.00.

I know how much those mirrors cost......I just couldn't believe that $20 dollar camera cost $213.

Would moisture entering be covered under your warranty? I would think so. It's worth a try to find out.

I've got the same problem with the left camera on my SIG. Personally, I think the mirror cameras are a pain and I never use them. It's easier - and safer - to glance in the mirros rather than look down at the camera monitor, Having a 40' coach for 20 years without them and driving and 18 wheeler for 15 while farming, I'm completely comfortable with my mirrors and the backup camera.
