TV Antenna

Anybody familiar with the King Jack HD Antennae with Sure Lock; is it any good, does it live up to its hype and how is the installation?

Replace my old bat wing with the JACK ANT on the same ant mount and you already have the 12v for the amplifier for ant.
I live on coast mid way between Boston and Portland picked up all HD stations between both locations with very clear pictures.
Some stations may have to adjust because of direction to hold station but over all was surprised of the good HD pictures and clarity of voice.

If you have a working Winegard Bat Wing antenna now. Add a Wingman to it and have a better Antenna then the Jack.
Search for test "Batwing vs Jack"

simply put, it's good. i took out the old batwing completely and put up the jack. i have seen it pulled programs from 70+ miles away. video quality is equivelent to sat's if not better.

Which antenna is best depends a whole bunch on where you are parked.

The Winegard Sensar with Wingman is a narrow width antenna (Needs to be carefully aimed) with a very good "Distance" rating,, I get stations 60-70 (Even more here in GA) miles away depending on terrain.

I have the original Batwing on my 2005, plus a wingman, plus a Sensar Pro indoor module.

The Jack has a wider field of vision.. But this is at the expense of range.

ONE PLACE I park, just a few weeks a year.. (Between 1MAR and Easter) I need the wider field. The rest of the time I need the longer range.

One other fact.. Stand with your arms open like a preacher addressing his flock (Arms extending out and slightly forward)

Compare a birds eye view of you to the JACK antenna

It will be looking in the same direction you are. (It points AWAY from the transmitters)
