TV Issue

I have a 2004 Fleetwood Discovery. I took out the factory tv in the coach. I want to mount a tv bigger than the opening since no flat screen tv fits the opening inside the cabinet. This would be mounted on the existing cabinet on the outside of the cabinet where the old tv was.I will need access behind the new tv mounted. Any thoughts on how to do this ?

Tim

I used this mount upgrading a 32" LCD to a 42" LED. You can pull out the TV about a foot to gain access behind it if needed. You can pull it out to tilt the TV in different angles and it will stay put.

Tim;

You might check out this mount from Camping World. It has a lock that holds it in place when closed. All you have to do is pull the chain to unlock and swing out.

I am using one and well pleased with it. I chose to fit mine inside the cabinet so it wouldn't stick out and went with a 29", the largest size that would go in.

Cantilever + Velcro

I also used a cantilever mount, but attached Velcro tape to the back of the TV to prevent movement:

I also used the bottom of the TV cabinet for an AV receiver:

Tim, you may not want to go this route but this is what we did.

The head-banger is finally GONE!
