TV replacement 2005 vectra 40 AD

Hello to all and we hope all are warm and cozy or cool and comfy depending where ever your wheels are stopped.

I have a 2005 Vectra 40AD that has the original tv and I'm interested in upgrading. So I'm looking for suggestions on good replacement models that will fit....how to mount it and will it hook up to the current surround sound system?

I welcome your input.

Happy Trails

I just replaced and relocated my tv from the front to mid-coach. I installed a 29" thin LED. You can see pictures under the interior remodelk thread by RVBUNZ. Check it out you may get some ideas.

We originally removed the 27 inch analog TV from the front overhead compartment and replaced it with a 26 inch LCD TV. Recently, we removed that TV, converted the area to an electronics cabinet and installed a 37 inch LCD TV mid cabin. It was fairly easy. We removed the love seat from the curbside slide, then installed a credenza and TV in that area.

We have a 2005 Itasca Horizon 40AD and we replaced our TV with a new 32" flat screen. We went thru several TV's to find one that was compatable with our surround sound. (Dealer had told us any TV that would fit in the opening would be fine & was surprised that the surround sound would not work). I called Winnebago and found this out: whatever TV you purchase you must be able to go into its menu and go to audio--it must have analog audio out & be able to choose variable. There was supposed to be several TV's that would work but the only TV we could find and we looked at them all was a Vizio--works great and have had no problem with the TV at all.We did have the dealer install it for us.
