Hello All!
In the process of ordering our new RV the dealer has offered the 2 above options. A search of Enviroshield (interior protection and external polymer coating) offers very little info. Tyron (flat tire protection) search info is all a year or more old...sounds good but EXPENSIVE!
Normally, I'm very skeptical of these dealer add-on's but I would like to hear from anyone with any knowledge that may be helpful. Thanks

We have the Tyron bands on ours. The theory is good behind them, but like insurance I hope to never have to put them to the test. Noel

Both items are expensive and even on high end coaches is a waste of money. Get more info before you buy these items.

I think the Tyron bands is an excellent option. Real protection when a tire blows out.
How much do they want for this option?

According to dealer 365/70R 22.5" tires require 2 bands each. Their price is a breathtaking $2500 US. Don't know how negotiable that is, but, as someone has stated previously, dealer add-ons are usually so overpriced that they have lots of room to move on the price and still make good money. Another concern is tire service down the road. I called my local Goodyear dealer and he didn't know anything about it. They've been around for years. If they're so good why aren't they more common?
