Zip-it! My wife is finicky too, she will wear rubber gloves if she absolutely has to do something like this. We took a vote, and now I run the Zip-it tool.

Jim, if you used this type of drain screen and are still getting hair in the drain there is something very very wrong. Between us and the previous owners this type of screen has protected our shower drain for seven years without a drop of chemical or one zipit required.
