Rook

I'm sorry I missed this thread. There are at least two other threads I cautioned about this problem.

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f84/duo-t...ol-125781.html post number 3

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f105/comf...at-108572.html post number 4

In that last one you had posted in post number 2 "Hoo-Boy......I hope mine never goes bad. What is wrong with your's? Rook "

I guess I need to look more outside the "National" Forum

Dick

Just wanted to let everyone know that my two AC's are still running, humming right along and cooling GREAT! For the last two days they have rarely been off! I haved ordered LED strips to replace that bad Florescent fixture.....a permanent fix! Rook

I sent a letter to Dometic Tech Support about this......Al McGuire, Dometic Training Mgr., phoned me today. He says that they are aware of the problem and says that all of their Dealers have been alerted to this potential problem! Clearly, this info is NOT getting down to the local RV Techs!! I suggested they design a choke filter and insert it into the 12 VDC line to the Thermostat from the control board.... THAT is a cheap, effective fix! What will they do? .....who knows? Rook
