Unknown Dashboard Switch
Just bought a 2007 Coachmen Cross county 389DS. On the dash is button I do not know what it goes to. The attached pic shows 4 switches - from L to R is the battery disconnect, the horn, the radio, and a fourth one on the far right. It looks like a light bulb but when pressed, the bottom blinks with a green light. Any ideas?

Only a guess, but a generator start switch operates in that manner. Do you have a generator, and have you held the switch down for several seconds to see what happens?

It could be the switch to flash the marker lights. I have one and at night when the headlights are on, I push that a couple of times to tell the semi that just passed me he was clear to move back into my lane.

I'm guessing it's a engine pre-heat switch. Although there's a decade between your coach year & mine (& a different mfr), I have the EXACT same symbol on my cockpit dash as a warning light. It comes on when I turn the key in the ignition 1 click (ACC) & I have to wait until that light goes out before starting the engine.
According to my manual, it stands for "Wait to start, engine preheat". So there's a high chance that switch with that icon on it makes it a pre-heat switch.

Oh. I thought the double flash was from the truck driver that passed you saying, thank you, after you turned off your headlights quickly to let him know he was clear to come back into the lane.
You don't see much courtesy out there any more, not even from truck driver to truck driver. Sad.

I believe it’s generator start. Hold down the button for 15-30 seconds and your generator should start.

I kind of agree with those who say it's a pre-heat or glow plug switch. The double coil spiral is the universal symbol that relates to glow plug function. An example of a glow plug rocker switch HERE
If it is related to lighting, the symbols for those will almost always have little rays radiating outward from an icon.

Well, I guess I'd have to defer to djc290 as it sounds like he has the same switch in the identical position and with the same symbol.
I don't know if I agree with the manufacturer on how they labeled the switch by using the universal symbol for pre-heat (or glow plug ...the old terminology) function.
And, the way you described the function of the switch, it sounds like it's momentary, correct? ...with a blinking green light? If so, yes, I'd probably agree with Ljwt330 and others that it's the generator start/off switch.

I have a 2007 Crosscountry The first switch ties your house and starting batteries together
Second horns electric or air horns
Third radio
Fourth generator start switch. Press and hold. Glow plug take ten to twenty seconds then generator starts.

Thank You All
Thank you for all of your responses. Yes, it was generator button! What I did not know (and as some of you graciously pointed out), the button has to be held in until the generator kicks in. Duh.....
