Upgrading my 2008 Georgetown Forest River 340TS

Hello all. Looking for some advice. I have the RV listed above and was thinking of upgrading to a diesel pusher. Unfortunately finances will only allow me to go to an older diesel model to be able to afford it. I have looked at numerous ones that fit my budget number but I'd need to go back to minimum 2006. I have recently started looking at newer gas models that would also fit my budget number. Living in Buffalo we do a bit of traveling south to attend a few NASCAR races. The thought process of the diesel was better ride and fuel economy but I've heard if I can find a Tiffin Allegro within budget it would be an excellent choice because of the Spartan Chassis.
Ok. I'm open for input !!!! Thanks, Kevin

I spent my career repairing diesel powered equipment.

After retiring, knowing the cost of diesel parts and repairs, I bought an older gas motorhome.

The Ford V10 engine and tranny are a popular, relatively inexpensive power train.

I can afford to cover any major repair. That wouldn't be the case if I had a diesel.
