Upper Dash Fans

Hi all, a couple of years in, we’re still learning the ropes on our RV experience. Can I ask you all how and when you use your two dash fans? Is it just for getting rid of condensation on the front window or do you have other uses for them? I’ve been meaning to ask this simple question for a while now.
Thanks

We use ours all of the time to circulate the air when traveling.

At times we spin ours around and use for air circulation. I have two more that I am going to mount in the front and one in the bedroom for those times you just need a little extra breeze.

We use them for air circulation, both when it's hot for some breeze & when it's cold to eliminate/reduce condensation.

Have ours facing us. Like others said, a little extra breeze helps sometimes.

Ditto again. Vinny the Horrible likes to hang out on the dash. The fans keep him cool and comfortable, which keeps DW happy.

I am not sure whether these answers are saying the fans are aimed at the driver and passenger or back towards the rear of the coach. We aim ours at the rear of the coach to circulate the air that is cooled or heated by the dash to the rear. Obviously it doesn't fully accomplish this so some times we will also run the furnace or AC, but it helps.

The one thing on our rig that i haven't put money and effort into repairing is the dash air. Tried to find the very slow leak but was never able to. I figure it's probably in the evaporator and i don't want to tear into it. Those dash fans come in handy when it's sorta warm but not hot enough for need of the genset and roof air.

We really haven’t had too much issue with condensation, but I did use them aimed at the windshield once to help defogger in the morning while breaking down camp. Usually have them aimed back toward the lounge/ kitchen to keep the air circulated and the temp more even. They help when you’re driving and the dash a/c is not quite keeping up as well.

They’re handy.

We like ours so much I rewired them to be always available. Originally powered only with ignition switch on. Handy for circulating air from front to back while parked.
While I was at it I also rewired to allow the overdash light to always be available. Great as a backlight while seated in the driving seats rotated rearward while parked.

My previous coach had them and I never used them because they were so noisy. The V10 howl was loud enough. My current coach does not have them. Obviously, I don’t miss them.
