Question US States map question

I am questioning what the rule is for filling in the map with all the different stickers do you have to camp or is it just driving thru. Your input into this matter will truly solve a month long dilemma

We can each set our own rules. For us it counts if we drive in or through a state.

Everyone has there own rules .
I know people who count it if driving thru, I know people who only count if spent the night. I know of someone who counts it if they've been there , regardless of camping or not .

US States map question

Hanson..... There are no rules-- that's the fun. Just set yourself some kind of standard and embark on your quest. Through vacations, relocations, military service, and different careers, DW and I have each been to every state before, so our map applies only to at least one overnight in the motorhome that includes unhooking the toad and driving around in the town for some reason-- groceries, dinner, visit something interesting, that sort of thing. A quick overnight at a Walmart that just happens to be across the river in the next state wouldn't cut it. That's our rule.

Up to you but did see a cool idea - they put it on the front of the living room slide so it's only visible / exposed to the elements when camping.

That's exactly how we mounted ours.

We don't have any specific rules for the map, but a quick pass through would not qualify...guess we do have a rule after all...

US States map question

Our rule was we had to be there. We filled the entire map with 49 States , 10 Provinces and 1 Territory. There was only two States that we didn't camp in. We put the map on a piece of plexiglass and attached it with Velcro to the inside of the door. It was visible outside when our door was open. It came off when we sold that MH and it proudly hangs today in the S&B.

We never had the States map, we took pics. In our 43 vacation years, we camped at least a week in each of the Continental 49. Many many repeats!

When we went full time we started over.

I hope you all have a great time with the State maps! I love seeing them and the enthusiasm of the moment folks put on a new sticker!

Camping is the finest family time available!

If one wheel crosses the border....

[After we get all 50 it may become sleeping there.]
