Used Holiday Rambler Imperial advice

Hey new to this site and thought maybe I could get some advise on an RV I am looking at to purchase? The Rv in question is a HR Imperial 38 WDS with a 8.3 325 hp cummins engine. From experience are their any major issues with this coach or drive train? How about fuel mileage? It only has 49,000 miles, new tires just need new carpet as I can tell?

Thanks in advance!

You didn't mention what year it was. The 325hp on a 8.3 engine seems low. Are you sure about the engine size?

The Imperial is one of HR's classier coaches and the Cummins/Allison drive train an excellent one.

325 hp from an 8.3L Cummins would likely place it in the 1997-1999 time frame. Many high end coaches used it in that time frame.

1997 HR Imperial

It is a 1997 I was want to know if they had any major issues with that year or if there where anything I should look for? What kind of fuel mileage from a 8.3 325 hp motor?

Thank!!

How heavy is your foot? Mileage can vary 1-2 mpg just from one driver to another.

I don't recall how big & heavy a 97 Imperial is, but I would guess 8-10 mpg.
