Add private sale or Dealer

I've added the additional data that was posted.
I've added a column for whether the purchase was from a dealer or private party.
The spreadsheet is now sorted by year.

What an awesome wealth of information! Thank you for starting this. I know that there are so many variables in the pricing of a motorhome, but this list sure helps to show that it doesn't matter what someone wants for their motorhome - what matters is what someone is willing to pay for it, and then the seller being realistic and accepting that offer unless they just don't care if they sell it or not.

How about a general location as well? Prices very so much by location. I bought my 2nd MH 800 miles away due to price.

Don't need to get too specific, maybe just state/province?

Thanks for doing this.

For the conversion of Canadian to U.S. dollars I used .75.
Great spreadsheet with lots of good info, but.... using the current exchange rate skews the prices quite a bit. When I bought my 2003 DSDP in 2013 the CAD was close to par so it was around 62K USD versus 45K shown.

I don't want to over complicate things but don't see an easy way around it. Maybe just have the year bought and say CAD with no conversion??

Or else all us north of the border do our own conversion and put the price in USD the time we bought it?
That would make more sense and there are records of exchange rates available for us, just a little more effort on our part to google it. Here is a site that goes back 10 years.

Monthly Average Exchange Rates: 10-Year Lookup - Bank of Canada

My suggestion:
you may not need the columns "awning" or "slide toppers" as these are small, if non significant, items to purchase price comparison in my opinion.

I would add "major options", which could be an open field format.

For example, my coach had major options of 3rd AC, 10K gen, stacked washer/dryer, all tile floor.

Data:
2007 Country Coach Allure 470
Model 37 Sunset Bay
Engine 400ISL (8.9L)
4 Slides
Mileage 52,000 miles
Condition 7
Age at purchase 7 years
original price 475,000US
asking price 150,000US
paid 120,000US
private sale
major options: 3rd AC, 10K genset, stacked washer/dryer, all tile floor

Though I agree with your "major options" addition, the cost of an awning is relative to the cost of the RV. For instance, we only paid $9500 for a used RV, and anywhere from $500 to $2000 for a new Awning (based on comments I've read here) that is in the type and condition ours is, would have been up to 20% additional cost to us, which would have been very significant, as I was paying cash for the RV, and did not want to have to spend more than I budgeted, if possible.

It could be useful for those purchasing less expensive RVs.

I'll add an options cell that will allow longer notes. For me the prices and options are interesting but the discount from retail or asking price is the most important.

I've added two columns. One is place of purchase: Iowa, Vermont, Nova Scotia,...
The second column is at the end for any options or notes about your purchase.
