Question Used Safari Trek

Hello,
I am considering a used Safari Trek and I thought I read somewhere that in 2002 a change was made to the outside/roof/coating? Is that vague enough?
I like the size of the trek and the magic bed. Plenty of room for the dogs to sleep under us. Any additional information on the trek would be appreciated.

thanks,
susan

Thanks, for the website. Lots to consider. The only thing I know for certain is that I prefer one without the slideout. Have a feeling I will need to learn more about engines and chassis(?), unless I can get my husband into learning.

After reading a few posts, I now know I am in trouble without tons of research.
Or maybe just bit the bullet and buy one.

We had a 1995 2830 Trek for about 8 years. Many good trips with it were had. A 28' Motorhome with the space of a much larger coach. Really liked the big bathroom and lots of kitchen counter and cupboard space. We had no slides - pros and cons - simple with less to go wrong, but less space.

The Trek Tracks web site as I provided earlier is a wonderful resource. Huge amount of tribal knowledge there from a great group of people.
