I'm using a flo-pure water softner also. Really works well and doesn't take up much room. Recharge lasts about three weeks doing a load of laundry every day and two showers.

You should double check how your home water softener works...most only soften the hot water...

Really? That sounds strange. Why would anyone want to soften only the hot water feed?

In any case, I hooked up the softener myself on the main line into the house so it softens everything. But thanks for the heads up!
