I would think you could order one through any Ford dealership parts department or for that matter any reputable muffler shop. You tell them it's for a Ford F53 stripped chassis for RV application.

Ooops almost forgot, Brazels RV performance one of this forum's sponsors carry them also.

Magnaflow will probably have one that fits and low restriction as well.

I have replaced my stock Ford muffler before my last trip with a Magnaflow. my mileage increase about 1.5 mpg on a 4400 mile trip last June. I have a 2008 Monarc with the F53 chassis.

Had a Ford technician tell me to go to an aftermarket shop as Ford wants about $500 to replace it. I haven't actually gotten around to doing that yet. Based upon above comments, I just might have to check out that Magnaflow.

The cost of the magnaflow was about $200.00 + chrome tip @ $45.00. I dont suggest you adding the chrome tip because after 4400 miles it turn all colors of blue.
I brought it back and they removed the extension and tip and replace it with a sst extension.

Are you actually claiming a 15-20% increase in gas mileage with the Magnaflow? Most motorhomes with the V-10 get 7-8 mpg so 1.5 increase would figure out to that improvement. If that's true, I'm heading out monday to get one.

Do you know what the part number was for the muffler you got. This sounds like something I would be interested in doing also.

the one that was install was a offset 3" inlet and 3"outlet. I was getting 6-7 now on level roads I do get up to 8.5 mpg. Like I said above I would have been happy with 10% increase in mpg.

I went out and looked and measured mine, and it is an offset 3" inlet and outlet oval muffler. I found a pt# 14261 on Magnaflows web site that looks like it would be a direct replacement. Ford probley hasn't changed them much over the years. But I have another question, how much, if any, did it change the sound level inside your coach? On mine now I never hear the exhaust, I can hear the engine and fan when I'm in second gear climbing a mountain, but its not so loud the DW and I can still talk, I don't want to add a loud exhaust to the engine and fan noise.

After further research, I believe I'll save my money. I note the Dynaflow muffler is a part of the Banks PowerPack system which is not known for generating mileage increases anywhere in the range reported above. If custom headers, etc. combined with the Dynaflow won't increase your mileage, I highly doubt a muffler change alone will do much. Just MHO !

Dave: I can only go by what my MH did on a 4400 mile trip that I did in June. Now last year I did the same mileage as this year without a muffler change and the mpg was what I had noted before. I have a 2008 Monaco Monarch 30SFS with a 2007 F53 V10 chassis and towing a Toyota Corrolla.

even if the milage figure is not quite on the mark, it would be worth it even if your gain was 1/2 mpg.
