V10 P0300 code

I have a new Winnebago Adventurer. First trip out - 380 miles round trip received a check engine light after 15 miles on the return trip. Since it was the 1st trip except for driving back to the dealer 2 times I'm not sure if performance was affected seemed to run smooth, too soon to check mileage. RV dealer said it was a P0300 for random misfires..
RV dealer cleared the code and said if it appears again to take it to Ford.
Planning a 1500 mile trip in 2 weeks. Should I take it to dealer anyway ? Will FORD be able to check anything since the code was cleared ?

if it's running smooth i wouldn't worry about it.if comes on again on your next trip then take it to a dealer that has an engine analyzer not just a code reader.

Ford can run a mode6 test which will realtime monitor the engine for misfires. My coach had misfires when I bought it. The misfiring caused extremely poor fuel economy and lack of power, and progressively got worse.

if its new, I would take it to ford and insist they perform a mode6 diagnostic under warranty. Just to be safe.
