If the vibration does not completely disappear after 15 - 20 highway miles I suggest you have a tire shop remove and inspect the suspect tire, (or tires)... both inside and out.

Make sure mud daubbers haven't built something inside the wheel covers.

I am told that "flat spotting" caused by sitting should, indeed, go away once the tires reach operating temp. It is possible that the belts were damaged if the tires that were sitting on the boards weren't supported under the entire tread-width.

The tire shop inspection suggestion sounds prudent. good luck.

You said you took it out for a ride and fresh gas, but not how long you drove it. You would probably need a good 20-30 minute drive to get the tires softened up and back into shape.
