Vintage Motorhome

I have an odd question that maybe someone can help me with please. I am being told by a RV Repair facility that the P trap under the shower in my 1992 Coachmen Royale 360RD needs to be replaced. Does anyone actually know if there is if fact a P Trap under the shower. I know of P traps under sinks but did not know of there being one under a shower. Please help and I really do appreciate the help to this question.

My guess is that YES there is a pee trap. The purpose is to create a pool of water that prevents the sewer gas from coming back in the shower. I owned a 1997 Class C that had one. I now own a 2002 Monaco Windsor that has one. In both cases there was/is a small removeable panel that you can take off to access.
