If you don't end up actually driving it, put a chalk mark on a tire and move it a tad to rotate the tire so you put the former down side (6 oclock) around to 9 oclock and around the dial. If you have a digital watch, you are screwed.

Check list

Establish a checklist with all that has been recommended and include running the Generator under load for at least an hour, check your tire pressure, all exterior lights and signals, drain and refill water tanks, turn on water heater, operate furnace, stove oven and refrigerator on LP and elec, run all air conditioners (dash & roof), check condition of wiper blades, radio and wash vehicle.
