Vista Shade

Looking at the Vista Shade that attaches to 12V Power Awnings (we have a dometic weather pro). These come in two sections, a 6 foot straight section then either a 2 or 4 foot section that slides into the awning rail and has a zipper to attach the other section. Anyone using them or experienced any problems with the "permanent" section that is supposed to roll up in the standard awning?

I've talked to a couple people that have them installed. Aside from the fact they only provide 85% sun shade in order for the small section to roll up, the convenience of not having to slide the whole shade into the tube is a good compromise both parties state. I'll be ordering one in the fall as they are not available until mid July or later.
