sol.

sorry i don,t have the capabilaty to send pictures but thay are just standatd 12v. n.o. sol. and ate working ok. the problem is that the 12v is coming from somrwhere on the otherside of the sol. when it is off and the cable is taken off pk42

Disconnect solenoids are NOT just plain N.O. solenoids. They are mechanical latching solenoids.
Are you sure you are looking at the correct solenoid?

A Disconnect solenoid will look something like this;

or this;


A common isolator type solenoid will look like this;

or this;


A common way to wire the ISOLATOR and DISCONNECT solenoids is as follows;
