I have had Wallyworld batteries in my '87 Pace Arrow-engine 4/07, coach 7/09, all still going strong. I think they cost $70-75.00 back them. Eddie Elk.

I have a 5 year old Group 27 Walmart battery in my F350 and a one year old Group 29 Deep Cycle in my 5er. The two trailers previously have also had their Group 27 Deep Cycle and have been fine. The battery in my truck is a 100% warranty replacement for the less then one year old, so no complaints. I've also used them almost exclusively in vehicles for about as long as there have been stores locally with the single failure noted above. Now, will they install the new one - of course, if you don't mind the time wasted waiting. As far as who makes them, most are Johnson Controls with some Exide and a few by Delphi.

Like every battery seller/maker, there is always some percentage of failures

The top of the line Walmart Everstart battery has been well rated and reviewed. Good warranty honored at any Walmart and reasonably priced.

I bpoght a pair of them for starting batteries in a diesel MH last year. Would do so again.

Walmart will install for free if the battery is readily accessible.

Walmart, the worlds largest campground/RV resort, sells some of the best batteries in the world. And the cheapest place in the world to buy motor oil of all kinds, brands and viscosities. I have several of Wally's batteries in service right now!

I've gone to Walmart batteries in all my vehicles. Except the six volt which they didn't have in my local Walmart.

The main reasons were they appear to be built by the same company that made Sam's Club and Costco's and the other reason was there is a Walmart everywhere you go and when we travel cross country I know I can find a Walmart if I have a problem.

Mine came with a two year warranty.

I buy all my oil there too.

We have Walmart batteries on our cars and truck, and have had no problems with them.

Sounds like a lot of folks happy with Wal Mart batteries. I check them out, I need one.

For what it is worth a new consumers report did a rating on batteries and is quite high (a best buy) on Kirkland batteries from Costco. They run half at least the price of competitors.

These were 12v batteries but Kirkland brand can also be found on 6v golf cart batteries.

Just a thought. There are only three or four manufacturers (sp). They make almost all auto/truck batteries in the US. I have not found a "made" in China sticker on the ones I got at Wally world

I'll add my 2 cents worth. 3 in the bass boat, 3 in the MoHo,(deep cycles), 2 vehicles, 1 lawn tractor, all from Walmart. Never a problem as long as you maintain them. I check mine at least once a month or before a trip. If they need distilled water, I use a turkey baster, works great. Life is good.
