Want to add 6 way power to drivers seat

Have 010 Bounder with flexsteel captains chair and want to add power. What does this entail? Where is power available?

Do you know what chassis the Bounder is built on (Spartan, Freightliner, etc.)? There should be a power compartment where you can find twelve volts - different chassis manufacturers do it differently. You should be able to route a cable from the power source under the coach to a position directly under the driver's seat, drill a hole through the floor. You just need one 12v cable and one ground cable, so a 1/2" hole should work. Powered flexsteel seat pedestals are usually a direct swap-out with the non-powered pedestal. The biggest obstacle you may face is getting to the nuts that are under the coach connecting the pedestal to the floor. If your coach has an under coating, those nuts are buried in it.

Chances are, the power may already be there. It's cheaper for manufacturers to buy one typ wire harness instead of custom harnesses per build. Auto manufacturers do this all the time.

Be aware if you don't change the pedestal you will be about 3 inches taller, the pedestal for power is shorter

Actually denlock I do not know about other manufacturers but Tiffin custom makes all of the wiring harnesses for each coach. If you visit the factory part of the tour is the shop where they make the wiring harness.
