By the time you purchase the wire and the connectors, a cord from CW will be about the same price and will havd weatherproof moulded connectors.

Just my $.02 worth

You may want to post an ad for a 50 amp power cord. Someone may be installing a power reel that has a cord with it and wants to sell the old cord. Just a thought, may save a few bucks?

Yep. Wait until you price the connectors alone, you'll find that a pre-assembled cable is probably cheaper.

I bought this:

50 Amp RV Extension Cord Camper 36' Foot w/handle - $119.99

36' for $120 couldn't be beat. It's a good cord!

Was it as flexible as the regular shore power cords are that come standard on coaches?

It is more flexible than the OEM on my Gulfstream. Better than my OEM.

For 30 foot, you might be better off buying one ready made from your favorite RV supply.

The reason is by the time you buy the ends, and the cable, it costs more than a "Factory made" cord.
