Wash and wax?
What's a reasonable price to pay to have the exterior of my 42' coach washed and dried? Wash and a wax?

10 dollars a foot seems to be the going rate in Central Florida. I've seen it all over the place depending on location.

Yuma - $1.00 per foot wash, $3.00 per foot wash and hand wax. Both include the roof being washed.

Saw a flyer in a park this weekend for a $2 per foot wash and $4 per foot wash and wax. I have a guy at a local auto detail shop who will was and wax my 36 footer for $120.

Your location makes a dramatic difference in price. San Diego area was $10 bucks a foot while I paid $100 bucks in Oct for wash and hand wax in Yuma for my 40' coach. In Moab they wanted $100 bucks to wash it only. In N CA I can get it washed for 40 bucks but the wax is 300 and up.

At the Indio FMCA rally last year I paid $650 to have the rig washed, waxed, and have the front and rear caps buffed out, as well as having the front fenders buffed out. They even cleaned the roof and buffed the tops of the caps from the roof. At Orangeland in Aneheim I paid $100 to have the coach washed and dried, including the roof. They used a "wash/wax" combo fluid so I don't consider it a separate wash and wax.
BTW: my coach is 38ft.

At the iRV2 Rally in Myrtle Beach a couple years ago, a company came to the campground & did it for about $250. That included buffing with an orbital & detailing the rims. We didn't have it done but saw it done on the coach next to us which was at least 40ft.
At a FMA rally in Decatur, a company came in & did our 38ft for $150, included the roof. Brought in their own ionized water & washed it one day. Came back the next day with a spray on/wipe off wax.

In Yuma Papi will be at your camp site to see if you want a wash and wax before you can get set up.
They do a decent job and if they miss one spot he tells his guys to do it over.
They even wash the awnings if they are out.
In Lake Havasue Az Wishy Wash will wash for $2 per ft including roof.
good luck

In Tucson there is a gentleman who works the park every day. He washed and waxed the rig, including the roof and wheels for $220. Did a great job.

I wash and wax the coach myself. It's a 40' monaco with 4 slides. Meguiars Pier 56 wax two times a year also don't forget the roof. I wax it to.

Word of mouth. There are several fellows who come around and someone in the park will try them. Good work gets more work. We have been here 9 years and have used the same fellows for 6 of them. Keep a stack of cards if anyone asks for a recommendation.
