I have the Splendide all in one. It is a nice unit (vented) but the dry times are long...If we had the room we would go to stackables but in the current MH we would lose storage that the DW is not willing to give up!

One other question. Can you use your washer dryer while traveling down the road ??
Thank you in advance !!

Greg, we have the Splendide combo W/D and we use it all the time! If I were going to buy one, and had the space, I would go with the stackable units. I understand that they are faster and more efficient!

No, I don't think you should use any of them while driving!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Combo unit

Bonus is set and forget. No need to switch loads. We have better things to do than watch the laundry being done so time it takes does not really matter.

I've been using a Splendide combo regularly in 10 years of full-timing. Have replaced the belt a couple of times and the control panel, but other than that it just works. This was in the rig when I bought it.

If I were buying a rig and had the option, I'd go with stacked so one load could wash while the previous is drying. I've read somewhere that someone makes a 220v dryer that would dry even faster, so you may want to research that.

Neighbor has the combination unit. She washes the clothes and hangs them outside in the portable gazebo.

If you have the room the stacked washer dryers are ideal. While you have a load drying you can have another washing. Much more efficient.
As far as going down the road. You MIGHT get away with the dryer running, but the washing machine, no way.

We have stackables, and as most above agree, they are the way to go.

Had a combo in the American Eagle...not bad but took a long time to do a small load. Our current rig has individual units. Load times are faster. Also keep in mind you can be running a wash load while drying. Can't do that with a combo. Jmo

I've had both ... I wouldn't give up my stackable ones for the all in one unit. Night and day difference. If you have the room - go with separate units. My opinion.
