We have a stack washer and dryer and love it. We went to Alaska in an RV that did not have and we hated it. You either hate it or love it.
WE LOVE IT. OUR CLOTHS OUR WASHER OUR TIME AND OUR MONEY.
If someone counted it would be interesting how many for and how many against.
Your time your money your time your laundrymat cause I will be in my coach when it is raining doing my laundry watching my flat screen with my drink in hand.

Love our Splendide combo unit. Takes up a tiny bit of space and there is no way I can fill up all my cabinets in my 40' DP anyway.

And, I've never had a problem maneuvering my rig or getting it in anywhere I want to.

cheers!

Use ours all the time. Combo unit. Wife loves not having to use laundry in a park, no matter how nice the park is.

I haven't counted , but I have read all of the replies to my original post. Most of those that have them , like them. Those that seem to see little value in them , for the most part have elected to forgo them in favor of cost and space saving. A small few have owned them and not seen the value. Thanks everyone for your thoughtful replies. Subject to cost, floorplan, reliability and other compelling considerations we will likely seek a coach with a W/D.

I just put a poll up. Let's take the poll and see the results.

Washer/Dryer, Stacked, All in One, None

BTW, the poll is asking for your preference, not what you have or have had. I've had stacked, none, and currently have an all-in-one. My preference is stacked.

We have a stackable unit in our 40 foot Fleetwood, it's a Whirlpool and it's a must for us and it works great! I don't rather buy new clothes than go to a laundromat! Don't leave home without it!

So, far there have been 36 votes in the poll. The poll divides those that voted into two categories. These are that typically only go out for short trips and those that go out for extended trips or full time.

There were only 5 votes for those that take short trips. Therefore, statistically there data is insufficient. Nonetheless, the stacked washer dryer wins over the all in one. While it's almost a tie between those that want a washer dryer and those that don't. Again, this is for those taking short trips.

Of the 31 voters that take extended trips or are full timers, it's clear most (62%), want a stacked washer dryer with 25% preferring the all-in-one. Only 13% of the extended trip voters would opt for storage space over the washer dryer.
