Can't believe that your owners manual says that a truck wash will blow your paint off.

I use Blue Beacon all the time, I still have paint on my coach.

12 bucks a foot is highway robbery

If you can wait until you get to Vegas, call Red Rock RV Wash. 702-233-2833.
They did our coach on-site and quite a few others when we were there in October for the AIM rally. They hand washed and waxed my coach and did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

I've washed and had my motorhome washed a dozen times in the last couple of years all over the southwest. The going rate is $2/foot for a standard wash and $3/foot to include the roof with tire and wheel cleaner. This includes Phoenix, Havasu, Yuma, Vegas, Palm Springs, Apple valley, etc.

I've had it washed at pull through Pilot and Flying J both for about $60 and that included the roof.

I can give you contact numbers for mobile wash guys I use in Vegas, Havasu, Palm Springs, and Phoenix. They all do an excellent job.

Red Rock does an excellent job. They are one of 4 different Mobile Wash guys I use in Vegas. Vegas mobile wash crews are very territorial. Some RV parks don't let just anyone come in to do RV washes. Red Rock covers the southern and eastern side of Vegas really good.

Red Rock has at least 4 crews working Vegas. You never have to wait more than a day for a Wash and Wax using Red Rock.

If it's really dirty, I power wash it first as it doesn't press the grime into the paint and is very labor effective. That will get 99% of the dirt and grime off.
Then, a hand wash with auto soap gets the next .95%.
A wax gets the rest.

Gary's Mobil Wash in Camp Verde is great. I don't know how far south he goes. $185 for wash and wax on any size motorhome.

In San Diego I had a mobile washer quote me $80 for a wash of my 40' toy hauler. Inexpensive washers are out there.

Best deal going. Plenty of adjustments so you don't "over power" Comes with a siphon hose so you can draw out of a 5 gallon bucket of warm soapy water or hook it up to a water faucet. You'll be shocked how much you will use it for

Do you have any concerns about power spraying damaging the roof seals or caulking? I've been afraid to use the power wash guys because I seem them blast the roof's pretty good at some GC's and decided not to use them.

If a power washer is used incorrectly, then, just like any other tool it causes damage. Direction of spray and distance from the surface and type of tip all make a difference.
I do it myself. It's kinda therapeutic. Like the amount of progress for the amount of time and work involved.

Use Blue Beacon a lot. Think the price for my motorhome and toad is $56.00. They handwash then rinse. Many also have a roof sprinkler system to wash off your roof. We also put our steps out. They will wash them, too.
