Thank you for all the feedback. First, my son is out of critical care. He had 7 broken ribs, some with multiple fractures. He also had a fractured left collar bone and a punctured lung. Looks like there is nothing life-threatening. He is in a lot of pain. Looks like he will be discharged mid-week coming up. I'll be staying in Fayetteville until the end of this coming week. I have arranged for my grandson to fly here, and he will be staying and providing care until Rick is getting around on his own. I appreciate all the feedback on the tanks. Looks like I haven't screwed it up too bad. After flushing the black tank, I hold the flush pedal for about 60 seconds to get plenty of water in the tank. Looks like I need to pour the cleaner/deodorizer in after I put in the water instead of before. Thanks for your advice and assistance.

So sorry to hear about your son'e accident. I ride a motorcycle, and hitting a deer is always of concern. I am glad to hear that he is on the road to recovery.

You have got good advice, and are doing the black/gray tank ops just fine. Only thing I would say, is that I never, ever add deodorant-type chemicals to my tank. What I do, is go to Lowes or a hardware store, and buy a can of septic-tank treatment, which is the friendly-bacteria that speeds up the liquify process, but digesting the solids.
